FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between EPUB, Kindle and PDF?

UPUB stands for electronic publication and is an extension that was created by applications that use the open eBook XML file format. It is a popular extension for eBooks and is supported by most e-book readers. Epub files can automatically change size which is why it is popular. If you use Kobe, Google Books, Aldiko or most other apps EPUB is the file you should download in the Political Fly Books section. Kindle uses the extension MOBI and is the best format if you have a kindle E-reader or Fire. We have listed the Mobi extension as Kindle to make it easier for those in the Kindle ecosphere. PDF is the file that can be opened with a pdf reader like Adobe Acrobat. It is very popular and almost all readers, phones, and tablets are able to open a pdf file. Compared to EPUB and KINDLE (Mobi) it should be one of your last options as it is much more difficult to size and turn pages. PDF’s are mainly used for documents. If you like to read on the big screen of your computer there are many options to add an e-reader. You can add the Kindle app to read Mobi files and search for many of the popular apps to read EPUB files such as Calibre. We want you to make sure you are able to any of the books on Political Fly. If you are having any problems, please don’t hesitate to email us and we will do our best to get you reading. To view the books we offer for free download please visit Political Fly Books and Pamphlets.

How do I search the Government Directory?

Political Fly offers two types of searches. To search through the government directory use the search on the right side just below the Govt. Directory banner. You would use this search to find representatives from your state: just type in the name of the state and hit enter. Search for a particular person: just type in his or her name. Easy peasy.

On the left side, just under the Govt. Directory banner, you can use the drop-down menu to sort between the Senate, House of Representatives, Cabinet and more.

On the bottom of every webpage in the footer section, Political Fly offers a search bar that can be used to search the rest of the website. Just type in a search term and the most relevant results will pop up. Unfortunately, this doesn’t search the government directory so please use the search tool described above.

As always, we want to ensure that Political Fly is a useful tool for you. If you need help accessing the information please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time.
